allright im a long time athlon user and still a huge fan but i also want to visit the realms of the p4, so i need to know 1. Best processor for the money(want great OC ability on a 800 fsb chip) 2. Best motherboard to OC with( i want the fastest system possible so if rdraM will help me out then that kind of a board, but if i can get better performance out of DDR then thats fine). Other than those 2 i think im gonna go with sata HDs, 9800 radeon pro with 256 megs, sb audigy 2, also need to know the best ram thanx would appreciate any help also would like to know what kind of OC i can exspect with excellent air cooling

for the CPU i like the 2.4C a lot, and the 2.6C even more cuz of the 13X mulitpler. the 2.8C and 3.0C is too expensive IMO
for mobo i like the IS7/IC7 or p4p800/p4c800
for ram i would definately go pc3500. Corsair XMS, OCZ El, HyperX or the newly released mushkin are all great choices. pc3700 is a good option if you can afford it

you should get to 3.0 on air with a good HSF, maybe higher than that

Yea, do what he said, and I think he meant that 3.0C is too expensive for IC7, not 2.0C. But with these new high FSB systems you're gonna need some good RAM, invest in that.

jswjimmy the 3.2gig is not the only chip with 800fsb.
800fsb-2.4c, 2.6c, 2.8c, 3.0c, and 3.2c i think those are the only ones.;)
