hi,
i am looking for an inexpensive notebook for my wife. She needs it basically for web surfing, emails and winamp 5.0 which she uses to stream/host a radio-show. Maybe some sound editing with Cooledit too.
I was looking around and found this ECS (ELitegroup) notebook at Walmart 🙂....it is only $598 but the specs look REALLY good:
AMD1600+, 14.1 TFT screen, DVD/CD-Rom, wirelss interface included. (I plan to buy a wireless router for us to go online). 40gig HD. Windows XP included etc....even has some 3d gfx included but she doesnt play games 🙂
All these specs are PLENTY for her needs and sound very good for the price (IMHO).
ECS Notebok at walmart
Anyone an opinion on these ? Are these notebooks any good ? She really wants me to go out and buy some $1200 thing at bestbuy or somewhere...but i told her its total overkill...but of course i dont want to buy juk eitehr which breaks in a week or so...
thanks for any info on this 🙂
