Need advice on my next CPU

I currently have a KD7 with an athlon XP2100+ palomino, and 512Mo of generic RAM. It overclocks to 1900MHz.

I'm shopping for a new CPU. I currently have 2 solutions:
1. XP2400+ TBred @ 159?
2. XP2500+ Barton @ 228?

What kind of OC can I hope with these CPUs?

Which one would you shop?

Any input would be greatly appreciated!!!!

XP 2100+ Thoroughbred B (AXDA2100DUT3C) might be better than both of those choices for the money.

He was referring to a tbred not palomino 😉 I'd say stick with what you have for now. Wait for barton prices to come down a bit.

2500+ barton.
Ive got one and its runnin 2322mhz @ 1.95v (which is safe 2v is the max safe)
with out a problem.
beside it runs pretty cool too
