Hello fellas,

It's impossible to find any decent Athlon CPU/Board in my country, and I need to set up a P4 MP system. I've been reading all possible articles but can't find a good chipset/MB for it. Can you help?

Well you aren't gonna find any P4 based MP sys cheap. P4's can't run in SMP. Only the P4 based Xeon can, but it's very expensive. $1000 for 2x1.7GHz Xeon's, loads of bucks for RDRAM depending on how much,and then at least $500 more around $700 for the only Xeon mobo (IWill DX400-SN), plus don't forget a heavy p/s so u'd be better off going with a AMD 760MP system. That would be more around $250-350 for the mobo, if u need 1GB of RAM, then you can have it for $160 by getting 4x256MB sticks from Crucial, and $250 for 2x1.4GHz Athlon's. So I'd go AMD MP sys.
