Need advice on how to attach Coolermaster Aero Fan to its HS with stripped screw sockets

I decided to install a new Coolermaster Aero HSF with Arctic Silver 5 onto my ASUS A7N8X Deluxe MBO.

As other users have had to do, it was necessary for me to take the fan off of the HS to properly mount onto the MBO.

Upon reattaching the fan, I realized that nearly all of the screw sockets were now widened and stripped from me unscrewing them before. I guess the metal is soft.

At any rate, I do have the fan on there, as I'm using the PC now, but I want to go back and resecure using possible some Loctite on the screws and possible some dabs of metal / plastic epoxy on the base of the plastic fan case against the copper HS base. The Loctite is safe up to around 150 degrees celcius, so I'm not worried about it. But, I'm wondering what type of epoxy to buy or if the Loctite is even the way to go.

My last concern is what about the Arctic 5 application. As I am going to be taking the fan off again from the HS base, reattaching, etc., the HS base will move a bit. Will that slight movement on top of the CPU interrupt the contact that has developed since I turned the PC on last night? Will it re-set itself of should I take the HS back off and add an little AS 5 and razor it out again?

I know with AS 3, you didn't need to worry about this, but with AS 5 and AS Ceramique, they seem more complex and more dependent upon the setting-in stages....

What do you suggest?

Thanks!

Kurt

The product you want is loctite quickmetal, should work great. use some light oil or silicone spray on the screws before installing them, otherwise they'll never come out. JBWeld would probably work well, too...
