Anyone have any recommendations for a good HSF at a low price. for AMD XP1600 to 2000

and where can I get one?

I have always used the one that came in the retail box, so I am not familiar with which ones to buy

The Speeze Whisper Rock II. Is still $7. (that's right, $7.00) ($12. shipped alone) on newegg. Check the one with the most user reviews - that's it.

I think he means case-mod.com. I don't know how good that Speeze is, but I think the SK7 is a great heatsink.

another vote for speeze [Raptorcool1 = Falconrock2]
just replaced my stock hsf on a 2100+. The only noise from my machine is now the PSU; it is only £5 in the UK and with the default [silent] fan it still cools a good 6C better than the stock.

I have seen a number of reviews [sorry cant supply links but there a few from postings on this site] which have changed the fan and shown the heatsink to be as good as a thermalright with a more powerful [= noisier] fan!

gotta thank zepper for pointing me in the right direction in the 1st place:D
