Hello i'm building a new Rig for gaming as current pc is quite old.
So i thought i'd just buy a whole new gaming rig as my current parts are worthless
My budget for the pc would be 1200 dollars preferably but it can go up to 1300 dollars but thats my max
the parts need to be shipped to belgium just keep that in mind of you're trying to help me :x but thanks for helping me xD
I'd like to try out overcloaking but i'm a tad clueless on the subject so further explanation would be much appreciated
ill be using a 1280 x 1024resolution and i'm planning to build my pc in 2 weeks or sooner hopefully i also don't need an os as i have windows 7
I've already try to make a rig myself could you please help me improve it im not quite sure yet about the case ill be using so a suggestion would be appreciated

Heres what i have so far:http://pcpartpicker.com/p/wwM8http://pcpartpicker.com/p/wveY

Do you not need an operating system? The way I see it, you need to include an OS and case, and get a better monitor (e-IPS 1080p monitors go for around $160 USD). The way I see it, you'll want a nice monitor, or you can't appreciate the upgrade properly. You'll be staring at the monitor for hours on end; might as well get a reasonably good one. Also, you might need to get parts from Belgium rather than US sites. Try figuring out some local sites, and fill out the sticky so we can help you.

Right now, your build is spending too much for gaming. A 670 is around $250 USD with a good deal; it's 90% of the performance for half the price. You don't need 16GB for gaming, and if you wanted it for some reason, I would advise getting 2x8GB RAM so you have an upgrade path (if you ever want more than 16GB, you'll need Windows 7/8 Pro or better). There are much cheaper PSUs which are perfectly adequate for a single GPU system; you'll only need a 500-550 watt unit. In the US, quality units rated for 550w go for around $50-60, if you know what brands are good. Sound cards are unnecessary unless you've got a really good speaker system (a good home theater, for example); generally, the motherboard is good enough.

The savings from these areas should buy you a 1080p monitor and an OS. You may also want to get something other than the 840. TLC NAND is untested by consumers, and even though Samsung has a rock-solid reputation, I'd let other folks be the guinea pigs. Go for an Intel 330 or Vortex 4.

If you're shipping to Belgium why not buy from Belgium?

On your budget, overclocking is probably the way to go.

The parts list you posted is pretty good but the RAM is incompatible with the cooler (too tall). The sound card is unnecessary, but if you want a sound card I'd recommend Asus Xonar series over Creative. The PSU is a bit overpowered, you don't need more than 500W for a single GPU rig and it's highly unlikely you'll ever go SLI/Crossfire.

Twice as much? I highly doubt that. Did you factor in shipping costs?

Prices in alternate.be seem decent enough to me, nowhere near 2x as much. Mindfactory.de is also good, the shipping is relatively fast and costs 30€ to EU.
Handling RMA or DOA returns is obviously much easier to Belgium or Germany than it is to the US.

You have an XFX 750W in your latest list

No, no check the second list D;

well it actually cost a bit more and i don't know if i could find the parts that i'm looking for
i was a bit exaggerating saying its double though
but for example the i5 costs 219 euros and on the other site it costs 129 euros without shipping
Edit: i've updated the links sorry for the inconvenience

Your links still link to /p/wvaR, not /p/wveY. In the actual latest list, you've got the i5-3470 paired with a Z77 board. Either get the 3570K so you can overclock the CPU properly (i5-3470 is only partially unlocked), or get a H77 board or a cheap Z77 board.

Your $1300 budget translates to about 1000 eur max.

Here's what I'd build from alternate.be

CPU i5-3570K 220€
Cooler Thermalright True Spirit 120 25€
Mobo Asrock Z77 Pro3 95€
RAM 2x4GB GeiL 1333 30€
GPU MSI 7870 Twin Frozr III 240€
SSD None, buy later - the new HDD will be faster than what you have anyway and a pure gaming PC doesn't need an SSD
HDD Seagate ST1000DM003 75€
DVD Samsung DVD-RW 18€
PSU XFX 550W 60€
Case Cooler Master Elite 430 45€
Monitor Samsung S24B300BL 150€

= 958€ + shipping

Alternatively: i5-3470 185€ + stock cooler + Asrock H77 Pro4-M 75€ = no OC. This saves enough to either include an SSD: Samsung 840 90€ (total 968€) or upgrade the GPU: Gigabyte 7950 309€

Oh. The first picture you posted was the one with XFX 750W in it, seems like you edited it, or maybe I'm imagining things.

Apevia does not make good PSUs.

The specs you want are 2x4GB 1600mhz/1333mhz 1.5V/1.35V. Any standard profile RAM will do like the GeiL kit I linked, or lower profile like this Samsung

 It's not like Belgium is some third world country where you need to buy from overseas. Warranty support and RMA's will be so much easier if you buy from the EU. That's not to mention shipping costs! One RMA to the US (if you can get it) will eat your entire savings, if there is any in the first place.
