Need advice on Fish lures.....

I want to get my step-father some lures for Christmas. He fishes in Lake Erie, for walleye, smallmouth, yellow perch, etc. Not sure beyond walleye 🙂 mmmm



I could use some advice since I R TeH stupid in this area.

Get him a gift card to Bass Pro Shops. He probably has a favorite brand or type that one would never guess without asking, and thus giving away the incoming gift.

I fish on Lake Erie myself quite often. For each of these types of fish, you are going to use different types of tackle amd lures.

Every fisherman is different too. Your best bet would be to pick up a gift certificate from Gander Mountain or Dick's.

No Bass Pro Shops in the Northern Ohio area btw.

agreed with the gift certificate. I myself swear by spinners, but others use mainly crankbaits or jerkbaits (every dweeb reading this is going "huh, huh.. he said "jerkbaits" 😉)
