for awhile i had an az31 (idential to the az11 just was im micro atx format) it was an ok board, but it had some stability issues

the az11 was one of the very first socket a boards, and i think it was a little buggy, another thing to be aware of is that it comes with onboard audio, but its missing the game port... also it only has 1 com port, the place where the second com, or integrated video would be was just left empty

I own an AZ11 (bought about 1.5 years ago) and if you want to play games, stay far away. I have never been able to play games on mine as it freezes up anywhere between 1 and 10 minutes after starting the game. I ruled out heat issues and updated the bios and drivers for the geforce2mx and sblive, which I thought could be causing the problem. To this day, I can't play games on it. As far as running non-game related software, I find it to be a decent board. Only buy this board if you want to get a mobo for your mom to surf the net with,...lol... :p

dont listen to them i have the mobo right now and using it to play cs and it is stable. it was crashing at first while installing an OS but that was becasue i had no case fans

i think that the az11 needs alot of cooling to keep it stable becasue i have an external 6 inch fan on it and it hasnt frozen since and its been 7 months since last crash.

I've had mine for about a year now and I am very pleased with it. I've practically mastered every setting on this motherboard to get the best setting for my pc. The main reason I was attracted to this board was the price; it was the lowest for a socket A board I could find. For the price and performance I get I'm happy with this board and would recommend it for budget-minded buyers.

I've never had game problems that's motherboard related. I think you just have to have the will to learn every spec of the mobo and tweak it accordingly to make it work for you.

As it stands, this mobo does not officially support XP processors.

FIC boards are usually stable, if you can't play games on it, its not the board, more like your graphics card, or the way you have things set up. FIC has a tendency to make their boards not as upgradeable as they could be, the AD11 was the only 760 board I know of not to be able to take an XP.
Most companies make boards very similar from board to board. http://www.aselabs.com/articles.php?articleid=16 is a article describing how they stack up.

I purchased and GeForce4 MX440 for my AZ11E and I can only get it to work if I take out all the PCI cards. I have a friend who also has an FIC (don't know the model) and he to has had the same problem. I have done eveything I can to get it to work. I even took a Fluk power tester to the AGP slot thinking it was a power issue but the problem is still there. Just an F.Y.I.

They don't support updates for the bios on that board anymore.
The board is extremely picky about ram and graphic cards.
A GFmx is a no go on that board.
Cheap ram will also cause instability.
I sold mine, got it running OK with another fan mounted to the side of heatsink on the CPU
