need advice on dsl setup

I just recently renovated a back room into an office. Now I want to set my comp up for dsl one problem. I am probaly 50-75 feet from nearest phone jack. I have been tossing around how to solve the signal loss that would result from a long phone cord. I have been told that if I connected the modem a foot or two away from the phone jack and then ran cat-5 or cat-6 to the computer that it would work. I have also looked into a wireless router and wireless pc card. Anyone else have a similar situation or good idea?
 
power line networking, but ethernet would probably work better, pretty sure it can go 350+ft without much trouble
