Me and a few friends are planning on attending a WWE Monday Night Raw (save the wrestling flames for a differnet thread, just going for fun) and want to get floor tickets through Ticketmaster.com.

The event is on 10/30 in Moline, Ill., and tickets go on sale Saturday morning on Ticketmaster.com, through phones, and at the ticket office. We'd like to get the best tickets ($60 floor seats) and I was wondering if anyone has dealt with Ticketmaster for what I'd assume will be a hot event.

Does anyone have advice (idk if anyone will have advice for a wrestling event) dealing with Ticketmaster? What would be the best way to order (on the website, on the phone, I don't think we'd be able to make it to the ticket office)?

Thanks for any help.

I worked at the student union in college and we had a ticketmaster but most of the general public did not know we were there so we only had a few big event days where more than 20 people showed up at once. Everybody went to the main ticket office at the basketball stadium instead. This was 1998~00 though so I don't think you could even buy tickets online in our area then. I'm guessing the online system is probably the best way to buy now though.

My best advice if you dont want to buy online is to find a ticket office where not many wrestling fans would go like a record store or something. Or have a friend or family member in another city pick up tix for you.

online. look for coupons. google for them. ebay for them. the ones on ebay ARE USUALLY free somewhere online. for example, broadway tickets on ebay that discount ticketmaster are usually from broadwaybox.com

I think online is the way to go if the event is likely to sell out in the first minute or two. However if its a really popular event that will sell out fast theres no way an average joe is going to get the good tickets. Tickmaster is rigged for the scalpers/resellers that way.

I highly doubt it will sell out in minutes, but I'd like to get the best seats possible. There are 5 of us sitting together, if that matters.
