😕 I have corsair XMS2 twin2x4096-6400c5 installed on a msi K9A2 Platinum MS-7376 (v1.x) mb & it is only showing 2 gigs of ram 1 gig on ech stick? This is my 2nd board 1st was bad also found 1 bad stick of mem exchanged mem & processor phenom 9600 I showed 4 gigs before 2 ech but now only show 2g 1g ech The bad stick was on this mb could the mb be bad? or is it drvrs sftware ? I tryed each stick seperatly & each showed 1g? I am running xp pro 32 bit egeforce 8600 gts superclocked also what should I be setting the bios at for my ram? I have voltage set to 2.0 timeing at auto un ganged mode & it showed my full 4g ram before at currant settings.

Off the top of my head I would check and see if your board has an entry in the BIOS called Memory Remap or something similar. You might need to turn that on.

So on this exact board you had it working with 4GB earlier?

Are you saying your system has shown 4gb in the bios or shown 4gb in the OS? Also, in the OS, where are you viewing your available memory?

Both I am am using msi infoview and I also dmi browser, good memory installed all show same I aalso ran memtest on syst & 0 errors mem veiw shows same iswitched 1 stk to slot 2 for 2 channel operation shows same Ithink its the mb this is why I told micro center at the time that I would like to exchange mb also when we did the pross & mem
