Intel Core 2 Duo E6300
Biostar TForce 965PT
Scythe Infinity
eVGA 7600GT PCI-E 16x
2 x 1GB A-DATA PC5400 DDR2667
500GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 SATA

Need a good case to fit this stuff in. Not expensive...willing to shell out $75...100...125 if I HAVE to...trying to be economical with this PC but still powerful. Just one that can for sure fit a cooler like the Infinity or a Zalman that way I can overclock my heart out. Also need a good PSU to power this stuff...that has an adequate amount of cables with adequate length and enough power on the rails to power all my stuff above. Haven't built a PC in about 2 1/2 years so kind of out of the know as far as cases and PSUs are concerned. Anand's site made the CPU/Mobo/Mem/VGA pretty easy (thanks to Gary Key for answering all my questions!). =) Anyways, any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Edit: I'm looking at the Antec P180 and it scares me that the Scythe Infinity wouldn't fit in alot of cases because it barely fits in the 180. I just L-O-V-E though how quiet the HSF is....23.8dB...and seeing as though it's for my wife and she hates noise, I really wanted to get her a quiet HSF that was also capable of allowing me to overclock the E6300 to the 3Ghz range. Any other alternate suggestions of HSF?

Welcome to the AT forums.

Enermax Chakra series or Phoenix are nice for the money - just lack a couple of my Casitude points. If those are too rich for you, just go to the top of the C&C section listing and enter Rosewill in the search block - then look for my Rosewill thread - their R560x series and R6A series are excellent for the money. I reviewed the R5604 here: http://www.techimo.com/reviews/ .

And it would be hard to do better than the Enhance ENP-5140 or 5150GH (on eWiz.com - go there via Froogle to save a buck or so but go direct first as they sometimes have a free ground shipping deal that doesn't show up if you go via Froogle.

Okay, so the final system specs are as follows:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6300
Biostar TForce 965PT
Scythe Infinity HSF
Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound
eVGA 7600GT PCI-E 16x
2 x 1GB A-DATA PC5400 DDR667
500GB Seagate Barracuda
Lian Li PC-7B+ II
Enhance ENP5140 400W Quiet PSU

Purchased it all last night. Thanks to everyone for the wonderful advice. =) Hopefully I did alright?

Good choice, you'll be happy with the Lian Li. Only downside is that there's no tool-less drive installation, but I can live with that. The price is also great, these used to cost almost twice as much two years ago.
As fot the PSU, I'm not really up to date anymore on all available units and haven't heard of the Enhance. I'd recommend a Seasonic S12 though, can't really go wrong with them.

Check out http://www.silentpcreview.com/ if you want to read more about quiet stuff.
