need advice on bluetooth speakers

I'm looking to get some Bluetooth speakers for my mother-in-law for Christmas. Her computer is upstairs in her house, but she wants to be able to play music from it to speakers downstairs. drilling holes to run cables is apparently not an option, is Bluetooth the way to go?

She'll only be playing music. What I'm looking for is the best Bluetooth speaker setup I can get with around a $100 budget.

I also need a Bluetooth adapter for her computer separate from speaker budget, do the quality of those matter much? amazon has those for like $25.
