Need advice on bare metal disk backups.

Without going into messy details and opening a huge can of worms, and to try and keep it on topic, I need to clone a disk pulled from a raid-5 3-ware hardware array.

The sata disk is using ext3. I have tried acronis true image ws 9, norton ghost 10, r-drive, paragon drive backup, and acronis migrate easy. All fail for one reason or another.

Are there any other options ive over looked? The software MUST be low-level to copy all the raid meta data.
