Hello , just got my copy of diablo 3 and i need a pc to run it basically.
I was hoping you guys could point me in the right direction. My budget is £400-£500, i am not after a super computer just one that will run diablo at recomended/high settings.

I came across this on the net, what do you think?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Many thanks

Double your budget, then. Blizzard makes games that can run on anything, but aren't doing all out extra threads and cores any favors, yet. Expect high settings, when summon-junkies like me come out, to be out of your reach (out of my reach, too, but I'm OK with that 🙂).

You can't overclock that i3, so the cooler would be just for noise. You can omit it, if you like.

The PSU is overkill. A good 400W will be enough, with some headroom, even.

I also don't see a copy of Windows on their list of items.

I suggest you make a thread in General Hardware, mention that you're in the UK, and don't bother linking to that article, because half the thread will just become others arguing about it, rather than anything related to a good PC for the money.
