Hey guys, Heres the story, it's a bit off topic, but here goes.
Just a few minutes ago, I was called by a company called "Magazine Service Office" or so they say. They offer to send me a deal on some magazines.... I said, I want it in writing, and want to know what I get... He checked with the superviser, it was a go. I then Talked to the superviser, and he wanted my credit card..... I told him no, I don't do that. And I want them to just send me a bill... He said "hey what about checks over the phone?" I said.... Nope. Send me the invoice, and the Bill, then I will pay if it is what I agreed too. He really tried to get me not to go that route.... I looked on the web and no company with that name even..... hmmmmmm.....
Heres the deal guys, What can I do if they send me a bill over what they quoted me on phone? What if they send me the magazines before I even have a chance to dispute the charges?
Need some advice of some experts on this one.
