Hello,
I got a simple question for some overclockers. DUH!!!
All I want to know is this:
I've read that the ATHLON SocketA has a lower yield as far as plausible overclock numbers. My stressed temp gets up to about 45C.
Athlon 800 @ 1.85Volts @ 900 Mhz
2 80 MM Case Fans
1 Vid HSF
Alpha Pep66 w/Big Daddy Fan
One waste of space card-slot (42 CFM, YAH RIGHT!)
It's rock stable @ 900, and I can get the FSB to 105. What I'm wondering is if anyone thinks it's worth it to upgrade to the Swiftech 462A?
If I get the 462A, does that mean that I'm looking at $70 for 100Mhz? Is that what the most realistic yield on this cpu is? And don't quote me Overclockers.com CPU-DB specs please.
Thanks for advice.
