I'd go with the friend of a friend's car and save the money for other things, but then I'm not sure what you are doing and maybe money is definitely not an issue (future house?).

<---Only thing I suggest is chargers because I can!

LOL, he's in the market for a Porsche, and you're recommending a Dodge? 😛 Even if he can get past the 4 doors, he won't get past the shitty interior and handling.

the boxster consecutively beats the other roadsters in performance reviews. unfortunately, they're not the best when it comes to reliability. that's an amazing price for an '00. hell, i'd get it and sell it if i had the chance.

if it were up to me i'd get a new porsche cayman. it has great reviews and CR has shown it to have excellent reliability (although it's fairly new, so who knows about the long-term reliability.) that car runs from 48k-60k.

if you read the reviews, there's an issue with it considering it performs almost on par with the 911 carerra (i think it was the carerra.)

check out motor trend's article a few months back. it compares the boxster, the TT, and the Z4 and the porsche comes up on top in almost all aspects.
