Hello,

I want to purchase a GPU primarily for playing games. I don't do any video editing work, I just want to play games with the GPU. Here are my system specs:

Intel Dual Core E5300 @ 2.6 GHz
2 GB DDR2 RAM
Intel DG31PR Mobo
450W local brand PSU with 19A on +12V rail
a 15" monitor with a maximum resolution of 1280x1024.

I want to be able to play the latest games like crysis2, alan wake, battlefield3, skryim etc.., at 1280x1024 and upcoming games in the next 1 or 2 years. I have no plans of changing my build anytime soon so please don't advice me to change my build.

I am not looking to max out every game that is available, I just want the graphics to be great and the game play to be smooth.

I am on a tight budget and I can afford a maximum of $200. I am from India and here the prices are +50$ more than in US. So, kindly advice me the best GPU for my build..

Thanks,
Rohit

Thank You for your replies, but will my PSU will be able to handle these two GPUs (7750 or 7770) or do I need a upgrade in PSU?

My PSU is a Frontech JIL-2414B PSU, I don't know whether it is good or not. It is a local brand and not a reputed one like Corsair or Seasonic. If my PSU can handle a 7750 then it should also be able to handle a 7770, because I have read that 7770 draws the same amount of power as a 7750. Please correct me if I am wrong. If my PSU can handle it, I will go for a 7770 between a 7750 and 7770.

when playing crysis2:

the 7770 uses ~66 watts (at 1100mhz =73watts, and maybe ~80watts when overclocked to 1200mhz+).
A 450watt psu is more than enough.

This is corsair and your card doesn't require that kind of power in the first place. You will be fine
