I was looking at the Xirlink Veo Velocity Connect webcam. It's CMOS based, which is a slight deterring factor, but the CMOS's native res is supposedly 1280x1024 in HARDWARE. It's also USB 2.0 compatible, supposedly, and I'd guess that in order to stream that at the claimed 30 fps, it'd need it.
Anyways, I was wondering if anyone knows about the image quality and motion quality of this cam, how it responds to low light, and how it would compare, say, to something like the Quickcam 4000, which uses a CCD and supports a similar res.
Any info that you guys can give would be great, because I've googled for the last 20 minutes and come up blank.
Thanks!
