Need advice for trip to New York

I am traveling to New York for work, Queens to be exact. I will need to travel to the customer site by 6AM for the three days I will be there. Any advice on where to stay, or more importantly where not to stay would be appreciated.

I'm flying in to LGA, and the customer site is, IIRC, around 58th and Northern. I would like to stay as close as possible to their without being in a rat hole.
