Current setup in '93 Ford extended cab pickup.
Head unit: Kenwood Z919
Front speaks: Infinity Kappa
Rear speaks: Kenwood 5X7
Subwoofer: Kenwood 10" DB+ in Q-logic sealed truck box
Amp: Infinity Kappa 655a 5 channel 4X50+1X200 watts

I was very happy with the sound of this setup. (although more power is always better):D My problem is the amps subwoofer channel has blown three times. Since it's still under warranty I finally got Infinity to issue me an RMA. Now I need advice on what to get. The only 5 channel amps i've seen locally are an Alpine 4X40+1X100, and a Kenwood 4X40+1X100. Will I be taking a big hit on sound quality or spl. with the lower wattage of one of these amps? Should I go multi amp? (there's not much room in the back of the truck, and it's already wired for a five channel) I have about $600 to spend but would be willing to spend more if necessary.
Any advice on what to get and places to look would be greatly appreciated.

I thought Alpine makes a Big 5 ch amp. Its class T too I believe. Also check out Planet Audio, they have some pretty big Multi Channel Amps.

Thanks BigLance. I found the Alpine MRD-F752. Looks like a nice amp. Planetaudio's pretty cool too.:)

Buy any of pheonix gold top end amps.

If anandtech forums don't help try one of the five listed under audio.
