Need Advice for LCD

Hi, I am in a great dilemma. I have to choose between these three 17 ' lcd monitors:

Sony sdm-hx73
NEC 1760nx-1
Viewsonic VP171b

These are all great monitors that have 16ms. But I need people's input, esp. ppl that own or have compared any of these monitors. If anyone has any expierence with these monitors, your input is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

consider the sony sdm-x73, minus the H, shittier speakers but cheaper

I've heard nothing but good reviews for all 3 but each has their own downfalls too so...

I did a TON of research and ended up with the X73.

All I can say is WOW!

Trust me, you can't go wrong! And you probably can't do any better for the money!

Thanks a lot again for the replies. Right now I am between VP171 and Sony HX73.

Egale, insubordination or any others, how is the gaming on those lcds. I mostly play cs, unreal2, max payne2, etc.
Also how is movie playback and text viewing. Thanks again for the input.

All I have done is play Unreal 2 on it... and it is awesome. The Colors are so vibrant and vivid. And no noticeable ghosting at all!

Movie playback and text viewing is wonderful. I also do photo editing and it is good for that too. I have used the monitor both with an NVidia TI4600 and ATI 9800 pro and in each case used the dvi connector.

It is my understanding that you will get better quality output if you use dvi which includes less ghosting (I have seen none on my monitor) and sharper text.
