Need advice on laptops model of 12" just to use wi-fi internet and Microsoft Office

Here's 12" laptops More laptops.

Avaratec, I know nothing about.
Sony Vaio, I would definitely avoid.
Acer good.
Fujitsu, HP, Toshiba better.
Panasonic, tough but quaint.
IBM/Lenovo with Core Duo, rated high.

Read the reviews, ask the questions.
For what you're using it for, the field is wide open. If you're on a budget, you got choices.
