Need advice for Hs and Fan for broken pegged Socket 462 mb

Hi Guys,

My friend brought over a system that was running for a few seconds and then shutting down.
I opened the case and the hs and fan was hanging from it's wires.

One of the pegs on the socket 462 mb that the hs and fan clips to was broken off and
let the hs and fan pop off.

So the question is who or where can I get a hs and fan that will utilize the
2 smaller pegs that stick out of the edges of the cpu socket?

speeze falconrock is a cheap but decent fan. It has a 3 peg connector.

Yup, lots of HSFs with 3-peg clips.

Thanks for the info....I've never seen one of those 3 pegged ones before but
I just ordered 2 of them from newegg and they will be on their way shortly

I think I'll start putting the 3 peg ones on everything I work on so they don't
fall off when one peg breaks off!

Yup. Just say no to any hsf that doesn't have a triple tab clip. The falconrocks are nice, as is the price...
