Want a mp3/cd deck for my 95 maxima GXE. Preferably one w/ a nice mini-screen. Any recommendations/advice?

i personally would get an ipod and have some system which has audio input jacks. advantage is that you can carry around yoru collection too.

if you're not up for that, go for a RIO.

JVC and panasonic both make affordable MP3 decks that work fine.. I got my JVC deck for $149 with free installation from best buy.. One thing that I regret is not having any inputs on the thing - it would be cool to be able to hook up my ipod using an aux-in or to be able to upgrade to satellite radio without having to use an FM modulator.. Keep those things in mind if they're important to you....

I agree on buying Pioneer...but I say buy it at an authorized dealer so you get a warranty on the thing. You might pay a couple of extra bucks, but you wont regret it.

Give me a little more info (prince range etc.) and I will see what I can dig up for you.

Would like a nice display. Price range ~150. Can do ~200 if it really does something for me. I also need help if someone can PM me and talk me over to ensure its compatible w/ my car and some tips on how to install.

I just purchased a cd player for my car about a week ago.

Went to Crutchfield and entered in the specs of my car to find out what would fit. Then I found one that I liked and looked for it on Ebay.

Ended up getting a Pioneer P7500MP for $180 and it's more then what I'll ever need.

JVC LH-3100 at sound domain, $189

I just got one 2 weeks back, excellent sound quality, lay out, has a NICE dot matrix display (you won't find one cheaper then this), 2 seconds to switch mp3s, random accrss disc/folder, multiple color selections, audible ff, rw.... I really highly suggest you get this guy.

Feel free to PM mme if you have questions:)

I just got a Pioneer P8500MP, has an organic display, dual-face, etc. But it was $315, so that may be more than you want here.

Just make sure to stay away from this one.

I got suckered into buying this one. I have had it for less than 3 months. The LCD has already gone out on it. It skips on a PERFECT cd when the car is sitting still, and it doesn't pick up local radio stations very well (when the factory did perfectly before it).
