Need advice for a new computer

i need advice from all of you. I want to buy a new computer by the end of May (cant atm because i'm in Europe...studying).

So i'm looking for something like that:

CPU: AMD XP2500 Barton
Mobo: ASUS A7N8X deluxe (LAN and sound included)
Memory: 512Mb CAS2.5 Mushkin
Videocard: MSI G4 Ti-4200 VTD-8X or ATI 9500 Pro ??
Hardrive: 60Gb Maxtor ATA133
Monitor: 17" Samsung or NEC ??
Case: ANTEC Lanboy
Cooler: Cooljag JAC656A
UPS: ???
Speaker: Altec AVS300
DVD rom, cd-rom, CD-writer

Purpose: Online Game like Star War Galaxie, Doac (current game) and Matlab.

Thx for your advices.

Important: cost under $1000 US (or 1800 CAN)

Go with an ATI 9500 - For only about 15 bux more... then softmod it and *poof*... you have an ati 9700 pro

Monitor: 17" Samsung or NEC ??

Are you getting an LCD or CRT monitor? Don't know much bout crt's but both NEC and Samsung make great LCD monitors... I'd say go with the one you can afford that has the best response time.
