I need some advice here...

I just bought a new Athlon XP 1900+ to replace the TB 1.33 I had. I am currently running a MSI K7 Master Board (MS-6341) which is based on the AMD 760 DDR Chipset. The board has been solid as a rock for me over the last year, and was wondering if I would see any noticable speed improvement going with a newer DDR board. I had the ASUS A7N266-C Board in mind, since I can get one cheap.

Thanks for the advice guys.

Oh, I primarily use the computer to play games, email, web surf, etc....

Rest of the specs...

ATI Radeon 8500LE 128MB DDR
768MB PC2100 DDR Memory (1x512MB, 1x256MB)
40GB Seagate Barracuda ATA IV HD

I doubt you would notice any large difference upgrading the board let alone to an nforce1 chipset
if you are gonna upgrade I would recommend waiting for the nforce2 to hit the shelvs in a few weeks
you have a nice system and the amd chipsets are stable
if you sat on that till hammer you would be alright
it's really up to you if you want sata, usb 2.0, agp 8x, and the latest ddr support then maybe it's worth upgrading
I still got an older kt133 based board, bla slow but i stopped caring i guess...
I'll let the other guys tell you exactely how much % faster yur system would be going to other competing chipsets but it can't be that much higher
