lol, I've never done a webpage and would really apppreciate some adice on a low cost place to go for hosting and what software is easiest for a newbie to use.I'll be wanting to put up a photo gallery and have the option later of putting my business online complete with shopping cart and all.

Thanks

Well, I just created my site 2 months ago. I used Burlee for hosting. I have been very happy with them so far. I used MS Frontpage 2000 to create the pages and Photoshop to create the graphics. I was loooking into a shopping cart also. I did a basic search on Google for "javascript shooping cart" and got a lot of choices. Some were free and some cost a small amount. Anyway, good luck.

uh, shopping cart based on javascript is just a bad idea. i would personally use ASP or PHP to do your shopping cart. Give you a lot more security if you decide to do online transaction, etc. There are free ASP and PHP shopping carts out there. Just need to rewrite it a little to suit your needs.
