Just found out that my Compaq PC has a damaged mouse port on the back of the PC. I can't push the male pins of my mouse into the female sockets on the motherboard mouse port. The sockets are damaged, and I cant even get the mouse into the port. Of course my PC is useless now that I can not use my mouse at all. Is there any way I can work around this problem??

What about buying a adapter that will let me plug my mouse into a Serial Port or even a LPT printer port. Does such a thing even exist? Can I buy a PCI card to install on my MB that has at least a mouse port on it?

Guys please help me out! Thanks a lot
