Hey everyone. I play in a band right now and we're really focusing on finishing up our CD. Right now, our MySpace and our own website aren't very good. Just random stuff I'd throw together in an hour or two on a weekend. Its functional, but I'd like it to look more professional.
We don't have any real solid band photos right now, however, the new band photos will likely be darker in nature. For example, darker spaces, darker clothing, things of the like. We are a progressive/hard rock band and don't really think we need to have bright colors like we do right now on both sites. I'd like the color schemes to be darker, maybe a Flash-based site. The MySpace doesn't need to be over done like most MySpace pages, but I would like it to look similar to the website. I want the MySpace to be very functional with no videos or moving pictures. Even the mp3 player is set to not play unless someone clicks on it.
Lastly, we need e-commerce solutions on the site. T-shirts, CDs, random stuff will be for sale and needs to be available. I took a class specifically in e-commerce so I can help with this if need be.
Anyone up for taking on a job like this? We would definitely pay for your work. Probably a flat fee rather than an hourly rate. We'd need you to name your price. The design and layout are pretty much up to you.

Don't bash the recordings up on the MySpace too much...they're about two years old. We've completely re-done the drums and whatnot and finally will have very polished sounds soon....
I guess if I can't find anyone on here, I'll just outsource the work to the university.
