I have posted recently about when I try and shutdown, my computer restarts instead. I have tried updating my bios, updated to sp1 and I even ran an agp patch. I can shutdown ok in safemode.

Here is what I get from the event viewer:

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000009f (0x00000010, 0xf8525030, 0xf8526c50). Microsoft Windows 2000 [v15.2195]. A dump was saved in: C:\windows\minidump\mini032901-02.dmp

Several other possiblities:

1. could be something to do with your power management settings
2. could be a setting in the bios
3. could have a connector on the motherboard on the wrong way round (unlikely if you havent always had this problem)
