What's the best out there?

I am looking at some Asus model.

PCI, or PCIe are fine.

Hauppauge HVR-2250. Dual hybrid tuners.

I had one and I had major 64bit driver issues with it. Seems to work fine for most people with the newer drivers now.

I had a Hapuppage a few years back - and hated the intall and software. I guess that may be a moot point if I am using Vista/Win7 media features.

Does that come with an MCE-ready remote as well?

You can get it with or without an MC remote. Or just buy a separate MC remote.
