Hey guys, So i was unaware the beta testing was ending so soon...i have vista beta downloaded but I dont have a key. Apparantly they arent giving them out anymore. My friend said to ask someone because each key has 10 activations. If anyone is willing..they can pm me the key. I will only use it once. I would be so gratefull!

A note: Im asking for a beta key not a working retail key. Thanks:)

Vista is RTM now so dont bother going after a beta build. Wait a short while and get yourself an eval of the RTM build.

I believe January 2007 for consumers...and beta keys are all over torrent sites...I got mine at demonoid...

you can still get keys...
and interesting that you are wanting this now, as the cracked RTM version also requires a beta-key to activate it.

You can use both Vista Beta and RTM for 30days without a key. Just install and leave the cd key blank.

I participated in the Vista Beta Program, and just received an email from Microsoft.

We would like to take a moment to thank you for your contribution to Microsoft Windows Vista. Quite simply, it would not be the product it is today without your time, dedication and thoughtful feedback. You should be proud to have helped us develop the highest quality, most secure and most reliable Windows to date. To say "thank you" we would like to provide you with a complimentary copy of Windows Vista for your use.

Vista Ultimate, to boot! Kudos to MS, this was most unexpected.

If you participated, keep an eye on your email.

phile, I just read about that on Neowin. Kudos to you and the other testers. I am waiting for Vista to become available in the MS Action Pack quarterly update. :)

Hehe. The real kudos goes to Microsoft. I was happy to submit bugs just to get my hands on pre-release versions. But, this is a welcome surprise. I feel bad for the public beta testers that spent time submitting bug reports, as they will get nothing.
