Need a video card recommendation!

I'm putting a new system together and the selection of a video card appears to be giving me problems. Mainly, I need something with decent 2D performance and video capture capabilities, but I'd like to be able to use the 3D on occasion. Everything I've checked out that offers capture/VIVO either has horrible 3D, or has reports of incompaitability problems with the Epox 8KTA3 mobo (VIA). I'd even thought about using a separate capture card with a decent GeForce card, but it doesn't seem as though most capture cards get along too well with those cards either. Anyone got a recommendation that won't give me a splitting headache trying to make it work?
 
I'm not sure if ATI has made the incompatible list for you motherboard...assuming they haven't they make some excellent boards for video capture. And they usually have enough punch to take care of the occasional 3D gaming in all of us 😀
