Need a video card for simple dual monitor setup for 2D

I need it to be low profile and among the ones available they come with vga, hdmi and dvi. However if you use the low profile bracket you lose the vga out. I would prefer to use dvi along with vga none exist. Would there be any issues running a hdmi to dvi cable for the second monitor? I don't want to deal with handshake issues causing the second monitor to blank out every now and then.

Do you not have any integrated graphics?

Grab a 9800 GT for like 30 bucks or soo. dual DVI

Do you play games ? If so grab the GTX 460 1GB and you will have 3 ports. HDMI and 2 DVI.

9800 GT 30 to 40 dollars
460 1GB if you game = 130 to 140 dollars

You will see no difference in 2D quality or performance with either card. gl
