Question Need a video card for Halo Infinite Multiplayer

Rig in my sig. The AMD card I have is just not good enough. I don't care about running super high settings but medium settings at 1440p but I would take 1080p to keep it cheaper.

My CPU and RAM situation is good, I just need a card. I don't need to future proof the rig as I pretty much use the Series X for everything, but for this game I want to play M&K on the PC. Would like to stay under $500.

Any advice?

If you can find a Radeon 6600 XT or 6700 XT at MSRP.
Or if you can find a Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti or RTX 3070 at MSRP.
Big if.

You basically need 6.8gb+ VRAM and a decently high end gpu...
The gtx 1080/1080 ti is probably one of your best bets in that budget range for 1080p mediumish settings

The only other thing I can think of is to spend lots of time looking through craigslist/facebook for sub $500 desktops with few or no specs listed and identify the ones with a nondescript high end gpu, based on age, cooler size, art/design, and power pins, etc and hope you find something in it... they show up rather rarely... good luck, hah.

That's a very big if.

MSRP for the 6600 XT is under $379. You can't really find it for under $550 in stock

The 3060 Ti is in far worse shape.

man I was so glad I got into console but that turn speed on Halo is so terrible. plus I wouldn't mind being able to play Cyberpunk at better settings either. but still. fucking crypto
