Need a USB Drawing Pad!

Looking for one that is in the $150-300US range that is Mac/PC compatible. It is for my wife who is a graphic designer (She uses both Mac and PC) Looking at Wacoms at the moment.... Anyone know of any other good brands and models??

Wacom Intuos2 6x8 USB is the one to get. It lists for $350 but can be had on the web for $300 (new).

I have been looking at the 4x5 for portability, but it looks like the 6x8 isn't much bigger.
