Need a Tire Recommendation

I need to buy a set of tires for my son's car. We bought him a used Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V which he has been driving about a year. The tires were looking pretty worn, and yesterday he had a flat, so we want to replace all 4.

Currently the tires are 225/45 R17 91W Continental SportContact.

What would you suggest we replace them with?

I'm not looking for all season tires, as we don't get any snow to speak of, but we do get lots of rain, so a tire that is good in the rain would be beneficial.

I've been using these for about 1200 miles now and I really like them. We've had some really heavy down pours lately and the wet traction has been phenomenal. The ride comfort has also been better than both my previous summer tire sets. They also have a 50k mile treadlife warranty and a road hazard warranty for the first year from the factory.

I was just going to recommend the same tires as SithSolo1. My partner has them on his A8 and they seem like great overall performance all-season tires. If your son uses snow tires and is looking for summer-only tires, the Hankook Ventus V12 Evos are a great price/performance tire - that's what I run on my 2006 BMW 330i (with Blizzaks in wintertime).

My coworker is running those V12 Evos right now and he's not satisfied with the wet traction.

I find that hard to understand. I have driven them in some extremely wet conditions (up to and including flash floods we had here in MN a couple of weeks ago) and have experienced no wet traction issues whatsoever. Admittedly I haven't driven them in any wet conditions below, say, 50 degrees, but other than that I've really put them through the wringer in terms of damp roads.

I have had them for 2.5k Miles now, Quiet and good dry traction, In the rain it put a smile on my face that they held so much grip compared to my last tires(Eagle RSA's which were scary as hell to drive with in the rain)
