My office has 4 TV's across 2 offices.
We do quite a few court ordered groups that all have videos on DVD that go with them. I am currently in the process of ripping the discs down and converting them to video files.
I have 4 amazon fire sticks one for each TV, the plan was to have all the videos on the server and then stream to the sticks via Plex. However there is a known issue with amazon version of Plex that the devs and amazon are working on but have made no progress for months now.
So I have to find an alternative solution now. I want to be able to get youtube and the videos so the stick was a great idea but now Im thinking a little PC I mount to the back of the TV would be nice.
I can use wireless mouse and keyboards, Needs to be basic really. This would give us the added ability to run programs, do presentations etc.
Any suggestions on them. I was looking at newegg but they are 240+ and running celeron and intel graphics for the base ones.
Would that work for what I need? Is there a cheaper and better solution?
Thanks for the input guys.
any thoughts on these http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...1&cm_re=PPSSMXBFWLGKJT-_-83-800-002-_-Product ?
