need a temp. card for new rig

im upgrading to a conroe rig, and i need a decent but cheap vid. card to hold me over until the budget dx10 cards come out (8600gt) what would guys recoomend? a 7600gt? or up to a 7900gt? what about ati?

7600gt is a good mid range card. If you can get a good deal then either the 7900gs or x1900gt are a bit faster. Not worth getting anything faster then that if you plan to replace it with the next gen mid range card.

An ATI X1950pro would be a good choice.
