Need a super cheap ($900) build with everything.

Keyboard, mouse, monitor, OS - everything.

So far, i5-3450, Radeon HD 6870, 8 GB RAM, and a $100 1600x900 Acer monitor look like the way to go.

Motherboard looks like it will be a low end ASRock H77 board.

Any alternatives?
 
Well I'm not sure what prices you'll be paying depending on the e-tailer but those seem alright mostly.

Not sure why you'd pay $100 for a 1600x900 monitor when you could likely spend ~$20 more for a 1920x1080, and likely a slightly larger screen.

Have you considered the B75 chipset? It has what most gaming systems need and cuts out some features you likely wouldn't use anyways.
