My current motherboard might be fried (Shuttle AK32L) and I need to find a replacement.
The CPU I'm using on there is an athlon 1900+ XP with a 266 FSB
My main concern is price and stability.
I don't need any fancy features at all since this machine acts as my file server mainly. I just want it to be stable. I don't want to overclock my CPU as well. It does need to be a Full size ATX board.
I was looking at this board:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813127166#DetailSpecs
But I got confused about one thing. According to Newegg, it supports 333/400 FSB.
According to Abit's site:
http://www.abit-usa.com/products/mb/products.php?categories=1&model=124
It says it supports 200/266/333/400 FSB.
I was also looking at this board:
http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=240143
But those are a little pricey. I know I have to spend money but I'm trying to save as much as I can because it's not my main rig.
TIA!
