need a song on repentance..

hey... needed help.... i need to find a song on the theme of "repentance".. it needs to relate to the Manciple's tale in Canterbury tales wherein theres a guy who kills his wife thinking she cheated on him but then he later finds out that she was innocent and repents.. i tried google but to no avail.... anyone know a good site where it would be easier finding something about this?

again, the song needs to be preferably sung from the perspective of the guy who kills his wife and repents for doing so....
