I just setup a Windows Home Server box finally and I have uTorrent running as a service so that torrent files loaded in a specific network shared folder will be automatically downloaded.

I am looking for a solution to where on each of my two network computers (Windows Vista x32 and x64) I can download .torrent files to this shared folder. I thought Firefox (3) would allow specific file extensions to certain folders but I don't see an option. I tried DownThemAll! extension but whenever I try to create a new filter it will not work.

?

Guess I will answer my own question

Microsoft's own utility called SyncToy does the job perfectly, just have to set up a schedule task to run every so often. First sync run copies the file to the the network share and the next sync run deletes the torrent from the local download folder.

This sounds weird and complicated. Why not use Remote Desktop and past the torrent url into IE? It takes 2 mouse clicks to start a Remote Desktop session; click the icon, click connect.

It is not as complicated as it sounds..

You expect me to open a Remote Connection EVERY time I download any other file? With sync toy set to run daily I can control what file gets moved to the right shared folder on the server.
