It's not about cpu, but seems like the brightest bunch hangs out here.
I'm trying to figure out what Flux is. Flux linkage and Flux leakage. I know it's something to do with Perpendicular angles, magnetic force..yada yada.

The book just gives some mathmatical formula and the prof no speaks english. I ace the exams, but be nice if I know what the hell it is I'm pluggying into those formulas.

Like magnetic flux? The thing ive studied is mag flux in physics. Its been a summer so its kinda rusty. If I can recall flux is the arrangement of vectors coming from a magnetic field, or any field for that matter. Depending on the shape of the field or magnetic object it will change the flux pattern. Maybe this will help. I need to get back to school!

Holy
shit
it's so easy to understand once it's defined.

Anyone know of a good place, website, or book that teaches POWERS?
My Powers Prof can't speak english, wrote a book that impossible to understand, and is always talking about the Edison company and how much money a power guy makes...shhessh. To this day 99% of the class doesn't know what a transformer really is and this is suppose to be one of the final upperdivisions we take. Talk about shameful.

Flux is the flow of charge/fluid/whatever through a cross-sectional area. Yeah, represented with vectors.
