Before (links are whack though)

So what do you think? I've been criticized for it's "whiteness" and "spareness" but I guess I'll work on that later.

I realize IE7-compatability isn't 100% in the gallery just yet but I'll fix it. IE6 isn't liking it so much:(

<--off to figure out how to get PHPmailer to work with a remote exchange server.:(

I'd extend the grey bar next to the left menu to the bottom of the page and toss a quote or something below the links; lots of dead space right now and this will help it make look a bit more full, while not cluttering.

Well, that or just extend the grey bar down to the bottom, adding something below the links I'd say is optional and, basically, would have to be done and looked at to see if you like it.

The only thing that bothers me is that "Home" is capitalized in the menu and the other entries aren't.

Looks good... loading time is too long for such a small image. Lower the KBs on it.

Very clean, professional design.

My 2c:
1. Can you try out the logo on top as an image instead of regular text? I think an image will look smoother.
2. Can the background for SimpleViewer be changed from grey to white?

thanks for the input:)

1) I agree that the logo type phrase at the top needs to go. I have the logo somewhere but haven't found it just yet.

2) the background for simple viewer can definitely be FFFFF ;) but the site is quite sparse as it is..it made it even sparser, although having the gallery "pop out of no where" was cool:D

Maybe I just can't find it... but do you think it'd be useful to put "before" shots on some of your projects somehow? Do you even have before shots?

The pictures look too domestic or amateur... Gloss them up, make them look pro like we see in furniture store or bed n bath store's catalogue
Photoshop can do miracles

I do. But it was so vile, so wretched, so absolutely catastrophic that to gaze upon it would be as if you were gazing straight at the light emitted by a thousand suns...

yeah it was THAT bad:p

lol, ok. I was just thinking it's hard to really gauge how much you did in the house since we don't have before pics :)

it annoys me that I have to scroll down every time I click a link...

the inconsistent capital letters on the links on the left is kind of annoying as well
