I say make him cut the entire lawn with a pair of nail clippers to make him earn another pair, that is just lack of discipline. I wish i could go through 3 pairs of $50 badass headphone in a few months, i say just buy him earbuds or make him clip the lawn for another pair of logitechs, their stuff is high quality...with the right usage.

the sony v6 is built like a tank, but no mic... i agree with the rest here. if he earns it and breaks it, he gets to earn another set.

The hardiest set I have seen personally is the Trittons. The specific ones are http://www.trittontechnologies.com/index.php/products/gaming_audio_technology/ax-180/

AX - 180 model. They are rubberized and really tough. A lot tougher than some Turtle Beach set I tried. I have the AX 720's now, and sometimes wish I had the AX-180's still. They are really sweet and work on PC, Xbox and PS3. Hard to beat.
