need a script for a website...

I want a script that will allow a user to enter an email address, then either save it to a data file, or put it in an email to me. and then allow the user to download. i know it can be done, just dont know how to do it.
any info would be appreciated.

they have a large useful library. I bet this can be done in JavaScript.
